Key Features
Enhanced Formatting for Highlights and Annotations
Highlights are not just functional; they’re beautifully formatted in Notion for clarity and usefulness. Non-atomic highlights and notes are presented in well-structured blocks, providing a clean and organized way to review your content. We’ve also refined the formatting of these blocks, adding summary sections, highlight headings, tags, colors and minor tweaks to improve readability.
Sync Highlights in Natural Order
Your highlights and notes will now appear in the order they occur in the book, regardless of when you made them. This chronological arrangement makes it easier to follow your thought process and revisit key concepts.
Table of Contents-Based Headings
To help you stay organized, highlights and notes can now be categorized using headings that align with the table of contents (TOC) of the book. This added layer of structure makes it easier to find specific sections in your notes.
Export Tags and Metadata
You can export not just your book highlights but also associated metadata such as tags, author information, and more. This helps you keep all the critical context linked with your highlights, making it easier to organize and search through your notes in Notion
Selective Content Syncing
Choose exactly what you want to sync. Filter content based on books, tags, bookshelves, series, and more. This selective syncing ensures that your Notion workspace remains organized and clutter-free.
Multi-Workspace Support
Manage multiple Notion workspaces or accounts with ease. Whether you’re juggling personal projects and work assignments, our integration has got you covered. All your reading data can be synced without having to reconfigure every time.
Atomic and Non-Atomic Highlights & Notes
Take advantage of both atomic (individual highlight entries) and non-atomic (highlight blocks displayed on a single page) modes. You can update your previously synced highlights & notes without worrying about duplicates or overwriting existing content. This flexibility allows you to structure your notes in the way that best suits your learning style.
Update Previously Synced Content
No more duplicate entries or outdated notes. Our integration intelligently updates your existing highlights and annotations in Notion, ensuring your content is always up-to-date.
Automatic Sync Interval Configuration
Manage and configure automatic sync intervals based on your workflow. Whether you want instant updates or prefer to schedule them periodically, you have full control over how often your book-related data is synchronized with Notion.
Export Reviews
In addition to syncing highlights and notes, you can now export your book reviews directly into Notion. Keep your thoughts on each book neatly organized alongside your highlights.
Author Database and Relational Properties
We’ve added an author database and made the author name a relational property. This enhancement allows you to reference authors across all pages, creating a more interconnected and rich knowledge base.
Leverage Notion AI for Faster Insights
Integrate Notion AI into your reading workflow, allowing you to interact with your notes and highlights in a whole new way. Using Notion AI, you can now summarize large sections of your notes, ask questions, and quickly gain insights from your reading. Notion AI will pull relevant references from your highlights to create clear, concise summaries, saving you time and helping you grasp key ideas faster. This is particularly useful for research, studying, or even just revisiting a favorite book. Turn your notes into actionable insights in seconds!
